Green chilli zhoug

Zhoug is a yemenite chilli sauce with lots of garlic, coriander & parsley. This recipe makes a small pot and it keeps in the fridge for about two weeks. It’s fab on nachos!!

Ingredients:

  • 4 cloves garlic (the bigger the better)

  • 1 heaped tsp cumin

  • 1 large bunch of coriander (about a 25g packet)

  • A smaller bunch of parsley (about half a 25g packet)

  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon

  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
